Polishing Up An Old Blond Sho-Bud Pro III

What sort of polish is best for the metal surfaces?
Also what should be used on the wood surfaces?

Thanks

Online Ordering from Bear Family Records

Just wondering if any of you have had any occasion to order CDs from the Bear Family Records website. How would you rate their service?

Is there any way to obtain their products from a USA distributor?

Any guidance would be appreciated.Thanks.

Thank you, Jeff. Your recommendations fixed my problem. Example of the earlier behavior: I fired up Opera and clicked on CNN.com; the page (probably from the cache) showed news as of December 25. I applied your fixes, restarted Opera, clicked on CNN.com. The latest news appeared without a manual ref...

Opera Browser Refresh question

How do you get Opera to come up with updated sites in tabbed browsing? It is annoying to have to manually refresh multiple tabs each time you crank up Opera. Firefox handles this easily.

I picked up Bob Strum's "Strum With Love" CD at the Georgia show on Sunday and am enjoying it. It has a lot of standards on it ("Tenderly", "Secret Love", etc). I especially liked "Elmer's Tune"; it brought back fond memories of my dad playing his triple-neck ...

West Virginia Creeper was indeed the steel player on the 1971 "Lost In The Ozone" album.

Bobby Black also played on "Hot Rod Lincoln" on the 1976 double record album "We've Got A Live One Here!" (Warner Brothers 2LS 2939).

I miss Julian. I first saw him playing for Bobby Jones out of Dothan, Alabama back in the mid-1950's. In the mid-1960's, Julian used to appear on a weekly TV show on WTVY-Dothan with the Jody Leavins band. The band was based out of Panama City, Florida. Julian was playing a triple neck PSG (Wright?)...

Curley Chalker did a medley of "Rhapsody In Blue/I Got Rhythm" on Flying Fish album FF 035 "S'Wonderful - 4 Giants of Swing". In addition to Curley on steel, this album featured Joe Venuti on violin, Eldon Shamblin on guitar and Jethro Burns on mandolin. Other Gershwin compositio...

I am not related to Kayton Roberts or Smiley Roberts. I grew up in northwest Florida (Bonifay), about 18 miles south of the Alabama border and about 50 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico. I've always found it to be intriguing that several steel guitar greats came from that region (Curly Chalker - Ent...

After a period of observation, I have decided to join the Forum. I have enjoyed listening to steel since I was a kid over 50 years ago. My dad's steel playing influenced me greatly. Like him, I became a fan of those steelers of the '40's and '50's (Jerry Byrd, Speedy West, Herb Remington, etc.). I h...
