I think in the early 60's you'll hear Barney playing Waipo and some other numbers throughout the entire movie. I remember posting this topic a few years back. And to Don...

T-8 Guitars

Gentlemen, Reading over your comments about D-8's and T-8's. I was thinking of investing in a Remington Steel T-8 since the Fenders are hard to come by. I would be playing strickly Hawaiian music for solos and fill in background vocals. What tuning would be best for all 3 necks or can I get by with ...

Back to Doug Beaumier.... I enjoyed your personal comment Doug. As a beginner I was looking at a triple neck that Mr. Herb Remington sells. Has anyone owned one of his double or triple neck 8 string guitars?

Thanks,
Oscar

Know that tuning

Hello Steeler,
Can anyone tell me who's the artist that played the steel music and what tuning in John Wayne's 1960 movie Donovan's Reef?
And on the new Nickelodeon Cartoon program called Rocket Power. There's some nice steeling in the back ground as well?
Thanks,
Oscar Usman
