It's probably Curley Chalker on those, as well as on Sixty Minute Man. I haven't looked at the liner notes of that album in years, but that's what I remember. But yes, Dusty is on those other tracks too.

Slowly was the first hit song utilizing the E9 1 to 4 chord pedal change, but it wasn't the first time Isaacs used it on the record. Apparently this Red Foley song was recorded slightly earlier:

Damir, I've played mine on stage many many times. Mostly here in Finland and Sweden and one tour in Germany years ago. I took it to US couple of times also but I don't like to take it on the gig anymore if I have to fly since I don't want the original case to be damaged. If I had a proper flight cas...

There's two, mine and Phil's. Then there's a one PA Reissue in London and at least some point there was a T8 non pedal guitar in Portugal that was made out of real Bigsby parts but not made by PA.

I saw Johnny Farina in Spain at Screamin' Festival two years ago. Just two days before there'd been a rumor that Santo has passed away. We all wondered how he'd feel playing all those songs if his brother has just passed. Then he explained on stage before the show that it was their cousin, also name...

Picture is so blurry that can't say anything for sure. The body looks like a Bigsby and if the inlay says Bigsby then it most likely is. However, the pedal rack, necks, fretboards, PU's are not Bigsby, the keyheads probably either. Looks a lot like one of Shot Jackson's Bigsby conversions, which wou...

It's not a Bigsby, I believe he made it himself. At least the one in the last picture ( dark colored guitar )is a Hughey.

Here's Tom in 2005 at Greenbay Rockin' 50s Festival playing with The Texas Playboys. Tommy Allsup was on guitar and Leon Rausch on vocals. That's the custom built guitar he's playing that was mentioned in an earlier post, and as you can see, he's using a volume pedal. http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/...

The caster legs are actually back legs, that's how PA instructed to set up his guitars. You can see the ferrules on the crutch rubber legs, they are there to prevent the pedal rack from sliding up the legs when you press the pedals. The rack should be below the ferrules. On this guitar they are just...

The front neck changer is not a Bigsby made. Due to its' bulky design, the volume ( or tone ) pot is also removed about an inch. You can see the hole in the end plate where it was originally. Also, the serial # indicates that the guitar is actually made in 1958, not -55 like the ad says. Aside from ...

Early Buds didn't have any serial #s. The decal says "Madison, Tennessee" right? If so, pre- 64, but since it appears to have PU's made by the Statosphere company, I'd say late 50's, probably a -58 or so. Judging by the screw holes underneath, someone has tinkered with the original set up ...
