You're right. I went afield.... In theory, there is nothing wrong, even for my copedent, with using LKL for the F raise. Hoping someone out there has a S-10 (even if it's in rough shape) for sale. Just need it to have the body, legs, pedal bar, pedals, levers. Really that is about all.

I recently saw, and have the opportunity to buy, a square neck, 8-string, wooden Dobro. It has its nicks and blemishes for sure, but I am confused by what is stamped on the head. I've looked at various web sites which talk about deciphering the numbers and letters there, but I haven't seen on those ...
