lever lock

Thanks for the link Mike. Interesting thread. I would add a 6th string to the one suggested by Tony Glassman and that would be to drop the 2nd string D# to a C# so that the 1st string D on the newer C6 copedent would be there.

Lever Lock

Thanks for the input.. I decided short term I will simply use pedal 8 and tune the C to D rather that C# and move the pulls from strings 10 and 9 to 9 and 8 . Then just depress both pedal 7 and 8 to get the G and B notes . This will give me a seven string tuning of G B D E G B D and then I just boug...

removed the raise assist sprige as the nylon adjustment piece with the little bumpps to catch in the groove had previously been cut and cold not be lengthened. I may get a new one and reinstall putting extra slack in but fot now this seems to have done the job. Thanks for comments.

I have a Peavey Session %00 I am using onstage and I am getting a stgrange anomaly. It startedabout a year ago wheree it would feeback at a given frequency and checking last nite seemed to be an Ab (was an A position note but we tune down a 1/2 step for the singer). I eventually thought I cured it a...

re is it too hard

It is a difficult song but it is simply a function of desire. If you want it pursue it. I am hoping to have it as part of my repertoire for the SWPSGA show next year 2014. I just keep going over it again and again. break it down into parts and work that section over and over, slowly making sure your...

Super, that shows me what I needed to know, the total number of pulls is still limited by the number of holes but can be manipulated to alter a raise to a lower and vice versa but not add totally "extra" pulls. Neat trick kthough but won't allow ;me to what is necessarty to renovate a stee...
