I have seen and heard Terry's guitar, I have never seen or heard a better steel. If I would have had my thinking cap on I should have bought one of them instead of brand X.

I have two 400's, one has the peavey mod and the other is standard. They do have a different tone between them, however they both sound great.I am a EE, and as far as mod's go, I would only trust the people that designed the product in the first place.I have been playing peavey for years and have ne...

100% failure WOW, very hard to believe.Just for the record, I built 13 guitars in the 70's that had that type of bearing that sounded great and had no failures at all.As the speed of changers is slow in comparison to a motor for example, I see no reason that one would encounter a failure. However, I ...

Sage,
That is what I was thinking, that a bronze bushing would be the only bearing that would work in these applications.

Another biab question

Does anyone know how to edit the bass notes with this program. When I try to change a bass note, it returns back to the note that was there before, as soon as I hit "play". I'm trying to record my steel with it, but this bass thing is a pain in the neck.oops wrong section, should be in ele...

There may be somewhat of a small tone change at high power levels as the current ripple in the power stage will be greater.50 Hz does not update the DC link as fast as 60Hz.I have designed high power servo drives for 40+ years, and have found that a drive running on 50Hz must be tuned different than...

Song titles

I have heard new songs that have the same titles as some songs from the past.I don't remember any titles off hand, but I heard two this week.Is that legal? We really have a creative bunch of "writers" these days.

Emmons tuning keys

Does anyone out there know where I can get the threaded sleeves that hold the tuning gear to the key head of the guitar. The ones that came with the guitar are too short, and keep coming loose.I thought that someone said there is a part that has longer threads.
