Little Pete from the Dillards' Wheatstraw Suite LP features Rodney Dillard on steel playing some basic fills and even a brief solo towards the end. Back in the day I was a bluegrass picker and hadn't heard much pedal steel so this track really caught my ear at the time. https://www.youtube.com/watch...

I'm not sure if anybody has posted a link to this cover of a Sheryl Crow song by Dan Baker with some nice steel on it. In any case, here it is.

Pedal Steel Build and Play
Scott Finch built his own pedal steel using pulleys and ropes instead of rods. Doesn't list his copedent. Plays his version of the Tennessee Waltz.

The first real attention I paid to pedal steel guitar was to Sneaky Pete Kleinow's work in Christine's Tune on the first Flying Burritos recording. The combination of the singers, the song, and the way the steel fills and solos all came together really defined what would come to be known as country ...

I too have recently taken delivery of a Justice S10 3x4 guitar in red. Here's a picture amid the clutter of a room that is yet to be organized around the new arrival. I'm a new member but have been lurking for some time and my discovery of the Justice guitars came from other owners' posts about its ...
