Advice on restringing a Stage One PSG
Greetings everyone: Would appreciate some points of view on re-stringing a Stage One all pull guitar. I've done this process at least 6 or 8 times since I've had it. I'm thinking that I'm missing something in the process. I think Doug Ernest sent me a guide to it, but for some reason it has disappea...

Grabbing the 6-10 strings (6-10 triad?)
Good afternoon all: If I could, I'd like to have some comments, suggestions etc. on grabbing the 10th and 6th strings. I'm guessing the proper way is to utilize the thumb and 3rd finger. Maybe I have the affliction of short fingers but this is a pretty good stretch for me. I've heard it should be th...

String 2 (D#) will not stay in tune
Hi Guys and Gals: Has anyone had an issue with the RKR lever not coming back to D# after working the lever. It will not hardly stay in tune. You get the #2 in tune to D#, use the lever and it's suppose to drop the D# to D. Seems like a constant battle keeping one or the other in tune. Would apprecia...

Stage One tuning issues
Good Sunday morning to all: I'am still wrestling with the tuning process on my Stage One. I don't know if I have completely lost my mind here or what. And Yes guys in my desperation, I committed the cardinal sin of tweaking with the infamous "red tuners". However I have learned alot about ...

Trying to get my LR pedal (for strings 4 & 8) to tune to D#
Stage One PSG: Good afternoon all: Having some minor issues with getting my LR pedal to properly tune down from E to D#. This is on strings 4 & 8. There has to be some little thing I'm missing as I have the owners manual from Doug. Have tuned this rig at least 4 times since I've had it (2 years)...

Joe Wright’s 32 moves instructions. Where can I find them?
Good morning all:
Does anyone in the forum know where I can get the information for Joe Wright’s 32 moves? He has a lot of great instructions and great seminars from past years.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Finding a comfortable set of thumb and finger picks:
Pick preferences: Plastic vs. Steel Thin blade on thumb pick or thicker Dunlop style. Recommended way to keep them on and on place. Also good angles or bend on the picks? I just can’t seem to find a happy medium. Hope you guys can give me some clarity on this. What works and what doesn’t for you.

Thanks Fred!
Thanks for your very insightful post on the PSG learning process that you used and apparently successful with. This is a great road map for new guys discovering this wonderful instrument. I've had my Stage One for almost a year now and every time I sit behind it I learn something new. I'll be turnin...

Stage One issue resolved
Good morning all: Resolved my RKL issue first thing this morning. Apparently I needed to "bend" the lever just a tad more. Now working as intended. Thanks to everyone who posted their info to me on this. It just seems that things are somewhat clearer the next morning after a good mental re...

Stage One PSG
Have run into a issue with my Stage One and was curious if anyone else had the same issue. My RKL will engage but will not return to the straight up and down position. Just kind of hangs out there. Have tried to Doug Earnest fix by bending the lever ever so carefully, but cannot find that spot where...

Boss Katana 100 Computer Issues on install. #$##^%$%%!
Just picked up a new Katana 100 from my friends at Mayberry Music in Jonesboro, Illinois yesterday. Fantastic sounding amp with some really great features. The only fly in the ointment is the Boss Tone Center Website that really gave me a pain. I tried downloading the drivers and all the additional ...

Fender G-DEC 30
Thanks for the reply Larry. I used the Tweed Clean option with slight touch of reverb, delay and tri-chorus. Have been researching the Kantana 100 and that seems like the route to take however. Just checking to see if anyone in the forum had used one. Thanks again for the input.

Fender G-DEC 30
Good morning all! This is my first post with this group and I really enjoy the format and most of all, the great information that you guys (and gals) have to offer. Best 5 dollars spent ever. My question is concerning the Fender G-DEC 30 and if anyone has utilized it for a steel amp. I like the opti...
