Older Excel pedal steel
An older (I think) Excel D10 with 8 pedals and 5 knees has come up for sale semi-locally. I have been interested in the idea of a D10 (I have only played single necks). How does this compare to my single 12 Dekley thinline? The seller isn’t a player and can’t tell me the copedent but I could try to ...

Glueing fretboards on Rickenbacker DW16
Hi all! I just picked off a little project. I believe it’s a Rickenbacker DW16. Both fretboards are loose and need reattached. Any advice on how best to do it? Heat up the old glue and restick? Scrape clean and use something new? Any other tips on bringing it back to usefulness also appreciated. I w...

amp for an original JBL d130?
I have an original D130 16 ohm speaker. It is not an “F” model. Was salvaged from an old vintage Hifi cabinet (incidentally it had the JBL 075 tweeter and 2500 crossover). Anyway I was hoping for some low powered tube amp recommendations to go with this speaker. I’m happy to make a cabinet if needed...

Ampeg Gemini I
There is a local Ampeg Gemini I (G12) for sale. I think it’s a 1966. Hand wired 22 watts, reverb, tremolo, two channels. Seems a lot like a Fender Deluxe reverb in a bigger heavier cabinet. Do people like these as non pedal steel amps? It seems so inexpensive I’m worried I’m missing something. Any e...

Tube tester info
Hi all! Does anyone have an idea where I could find the test roll information for this tube tester that I was given? It’s a Superior Instruments Co. model TV-12. I have tried to Google up that information but no luck so far. Thanks for any clues of info! https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-0...

Lightweight cabinet for Fender Twin Reverb
I’m interested in finding a lightweight cabinet (either head or combo) to fit a Silverface Twin Reverb. Anyone have a good lead on one?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Fender quad reverb too much for JBL D130?
I picked up good condition (I believe) 1972 Quad Reverb the other day. After a few age related fixes of capacitors and a general service I expect it will be sounding good. I would like to build a head cab and matching speaker cabinet for a single 15. I want to use a peavy label JBL I have but am wor...
