Could anybody help me choose where the pedal goes in the line up between lapsteel output-separate preamp-amp input. Between lap and preamp volume increase seems linear, but lower. Goeff - Mike is peavey 480 sm condensor. about $150, phantom power. POD settings = Tube preamp, Crunch, and Tweed Blues for reso with McINTYRE 'Feather' pickup blended with previous model pickup to SWR amp. Using
BlackFace TR setting with lap to vol ped to either amp.

I've had good use from a Ron Tipton bar, which I've heard is what the Sheerhorn is modelled after. Also Lapdawg is a lil lighter, and easier to move with good sustain. Shubb Pearse cutaway has been good for the the 8 strg Melobro. Like Stevens on my old oahu 6, for some reason.
