I also have Doug's books but am really wanting to find Silver Wings in particular.

I have this book. I am looking for a bit more.

Can anyone, anywhere, tell me where I could get my hands on some tablature for 6 string NON-PEDAL C6 tuning? I have searched the web high and low. I cannot find much at all. I can find open E, E9, etc but not much in my tuning and not for non-pedal. In particular I am looking for Silver Wings but wo...

Thank you Bob. That is basically the one I am trying to play, playing on the 4th string etc. What I am having trouble with is the next section, and the transition from A section to B section. I just can't seem to get the right notes on it. Please keep in mind I am a very green beginner.

It's been awhile since I posted this, but after going back and forth on selling Dad's guitar or keeping it, I have decided to keep it. I have started lessons and am enjoying it. Thank you! This is what I needed to hear after that other guy telling me the finish wasn't right.

Not wanting to sell it on Ebay. I have seen what they are doing to the old guitars and I would rather keep it than have that happen to it. Call me sentimental, but that was my Dad's baby. I have had a few people locally show an interest in it.

Has anyone had the finish on a vintage guitar "orange peel" without having put a glaze on the finish? For instance, can an original finish ever change?

Any idea on the best way to go about getting an appraisal on it? Like, who do I trust and where are they at? Is it worth getting an appraisal in case I decide to sell?
