Hey John I'm well thanks. Hope you're well also. I ended up putting the Alumitone in my guitar and love it. It was a 10-string.

Mine has the Emmons 108n humbucker pickup.

This looks cool. What would be the solution for running direct with this box since the output is unbalanced TS? I'm accustomed to running a balanced XLR output, sometimes a long way. Thanks!

Thanks for this thread. Has anyone compared the xlr output of both boxes? Also how are you all setting the volume and master knobs on these units when using the xlr out going direct?

I believe we are using a Midas board but will need to double check. Also I am pretty satisfied with the sound quality and am not noticing unwanted noise just mild distortion in the scenario I described in the original post.
