Thanks for a place to start. I am enjoying doing research on my Dad's favorite guitar. I'm not leaning towards selling it at all. On the contrary, I'm learning that I have a bit of history and it's a beautiful instrument. It's fun getting to know it.

I'm new to this forum. My Dad gave me his Sho-Bud Pro I a few months ago, as he is 87 and can't play anymore. I don't know anything about pedal steel except he bought it from Bobby Chatfield in Springfield, MO. He can't remember exactly when, maybe in 1988. It's a blonde E9 3/3, whatever that means....
