Fender did this alot going through a transition period, decals were used from back when. The true date of the guitar is on the heel of the neck and the neck pocket tell's the true date of the body.

Hi, Your serial number starts with a Z means its a 2000 so your tele would be a 2002. If the serial number started with a N means 90's then it would be a 92. Just sayin'

Mr Fox, I have a Peavey special 130 that just quit working, it only sorta works if I plug my processor thru the back loop. If I plug into the front, nothing.
If I go thru the back loop the reverb doesn't work, it sounds real bad. I also put your chip kit in it last year. Any idea's? Thanks, Bill
