Pedal Steel Cam - Cody Pennington @ Holmfirth Picturedrome

Hey everyone, it has been a while since one of these style of videos, but here is a pedal steel cam video! Recently, I was asked to dep pedal steel for Cody Pennington. These were my biggest gigs yet so I decided to take the trusty music camera with me for the archives. I played 3 gigs with him and ...

The Coal Field Cowboy Show @ The Lamproom, Barnsley

Hey all, here's a throwback video to a gig I was part of earlier this year! After being a part of his album, Jack Land Noble asked me to play one of his "Coal Field Cowboy" shows, which he puts on now and then at the Lamproom Theatre in Barnsley, UK. This video is a compilation of a few so...

Thanks to the two Larry's! I definitely don't take playing steel with my dad for granted. Without him, I wouldn't know what a pedal steel is and probably wouldn't be into country music either. Being British, traditional country music is not a big thing here as much as there's been a resurgence of &q...

I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry - Father and Son Steel Guitar

Hey everyone! Here's a new steel guitar video with my dad, on father's day! Keeping the Hank Williams theme from my last video, this is an instrumental cover of "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry". My dad is playing the Jerry Byrd/Don Helms style console steel guitar, whilst I'm playing pedal st...

Thanks Larry!

The console steel guitar is a Remington. Much more modern than vintage steels however it has a really authentic tone.

Thank you for all the compliments! We really appreciate it. I've been a bit quiet on the YouTube front in recent years but hopefully more to come.

Yes Craig, great picture! I got it from Mike Headrick. I've also got a John Hughey one. Both signed. :D

Hey y'all, hope you're well! This is my first pedal steel video in a while! This is an instrumental cover of the Hank Williams' classic, "Lost Highway". My dad is on console steel guitar for the old school Don Helms/Jerry Byrd steel sound. Lewis Burner of my band, The Burner Band, put toge...

New Alex Teller Album

New year, new music! Really proud to be a part of Alex Teller's self titled, debut album which came out today. It's not often I get to record for artists from the USA so it's always a great experience when I do. I'm on the song "I Think I'll Think On You (One More Day). https://www.youtube.com/...
