Hey everyone! Here's a new steel guitar video with my dad, on father's day!
Keeping the Hank Williams theme from my last video, this is an instrumental cover of "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry".
My dad is playing the Jerry Byrd/Don Helms style console steel guitar, whilst I'm playing pedal steel.
A big thanks goes to Lewis Burner for arranging the backing music and playing a sweet harmonica solo. Hope you enjoy!

Very nice Steven. I got to play with my dad several times when I was younger. He played many different instruments and I would play rhythm guitar in a pick up band with him long before I began learning pedal steel. He gave lessons on many different instruments to students in our home. He taught some students lap steel guitar, using the Oahu method, always staying one step ahead of the student. Nice that you are able to play with your dad.

Thanks to the two Larry's!
I definitely don't take playing steel with my dad for granted. Without him, I wouldn't know what a pedal steel is and probably wouldn't be into country music either. Being British, traditional country music is not a big thing here as much as there's been a resurgence of "country" music.
