Hey Gary, can you tell me where you ordered that copper tape with aluminum colour? Maybe I'd try it on my Emmons with single coil wallace TT to reduce the hum... Thanks!

Thanks George for your reply... I guess it's a matter of taste, and musical genre, and maybe versatility....? I also really like the single coil, but indeed, it's the hum that bothers me... I will try the hum debugger.... Thanks!!

Hi all,

I'd like to change the PU's that are currently on my Emmons LL2. Wallace TT---> BL705's.

Never done this..., so would there be a thread about this issue? Can't seem to find one...

Hi all,

Is it true that some Bill Lawrence 705 are too big/too high to mount on an Emmons LL2? I was told that the space between PU and strings is too little with BL 705's causing the strings to get out of tune because of the magnetics of the PU.. If that is true, how could it be solved?

Hi all,

I'd like to know which working tools you would use to shorten and bend rods.

Instead of going to a local shop or machinery I'd like to be able to do it myself.

If possible, could someone make some pictures of the tools they are using?

Thanks Jon, It's a Williams, bought in 2018. In the meantime I mailed Bill Rudolph and he came up with the solution. In fact it was the tuning peg that was worn out.
