From the real McCoy, Miss Alma McCoy. Same teacher as Lloyd Green, same time, but different results. I went on to become an Electrical Engineer. I still play for the same reason I started and that is for personal satisfaction.

The ears is where ultimately it all is. The ears is what sets the tone that the mind is striving to achieve through the hands, the instrument, and any other link in the sound process. Tone is in the sound and sound is all the steel guitar produces. The ear sets the standard for any sound expected fr...

Dan,
I can't say that it was or was not offered as the 'Pioneer' in kit form. But your post was correct in that it was a production guitar and is a student model.
It also was offered with an optional fourth knee on RKL.

Gordy,
Pics look identical to Dekley 'Renegade' Model 001. Mine has three pedals and three knees and is setup like Herby Wallace's E9 copedant.

Bill Duve,
Check that the download has the the right size when it completes. My first try gave the guitarmap.exe but it was short on size and wouldn't install, gave the Win32 App message. Second try worked fine.

I do not play professionally, but sometimes do play for a couple of hours at a time. I find that the thinner picks, .013 nickel silver, are more flexible and and tend to expand and contract with the finger and therefore stay in place better for me.
