I have often wondered if a Hipshot tuning peg or some variation of it that is used to drop the E string on 6 string guitars would work. It would be great if you could simply flip the lever to change the note at the tuner.

Thanks Ken. I had a couple of mini dpdt switches I thought I would try but that may be why it wasn't working. I could only get the reverb to work. I plan on clamping the box to the leg of the guitar.

Looks like the mystery is solved, what a shame, I’ve heard some of those early Emmons guitars were not very playable. Maybe that’s why it was done.

I sent the pictures to reputable source and he confirmed that it is a early ‘64 Emmons. Jon, did you get the serial number?

Wonder if it’s one of early transition ‘64 Emmons wraparound wood neck guitars by looking at the changer axle...looks like modifications were made regardless.

I'm no expert, but a bunch of those old 60`s Emmons guitars had knee levers added to them with 70s parts. Dont know about that one. Is the pedal stop bar metal or wood?

I've had several of the dobro/pedabro simulators for the steel guitar and the best I've tried so far is the T-Bro on the Telonics TCA 500 amp.

Can anyone recommend a correct on/off toggle switch for the EQ section on the Webb 614E amp. I bought one online and it does not fit correctly.
