Nice guitar but what do you mean by "had no hard rock playing on the strings or neck." Playing hard rock wears out the guitar more than playing it at a wedding or banquet?

Well at least I did it in private not for everyone to see but you made sure they would..

The UMGF requires an asking price which the seller does not want to do for some reason. Only dealers selling new merchandise can list without a price. He would not be allowed to post it on that forum, or most other guitar forums for that very reason. Can't be too serious about selling it....

If you are not already a member, mylespaul.com is a guitar forum where lots of people buy, sell and talk about Gibson Les Pauls....I think you would have a lot more exposure to potential buyers who gravitate towards LP's.

Why don't you just post the price? Most for sale boards dealing with musical instruments, that is the policy, you need to post an asking price. It's not too much to ask...

I also have a BF Vibrolux Reverb, original trannies so a 4 ohm load from the original Jensons. I have a Peavy 410e cab, 4x10 wired down to a 4 ohm load (the stereo/mono switch has been disabled. If I want to use both the internal speakers and hook up the 4x10 Peavy, what ohm rating will the amp see?...

While the guide is a good measure, it is not 100 percent. Check the sold listings on the same guitar (if possible) on ebay. While it is also not 100 percent, it at least shows what people paid for the guitar.

FWIW at the price of a new one, you could shop around and get a mid 70's one that will be point to point wired and probably of better quality. I think the new fender reissues are circuit board amps, no different than their regular offerings and more difficult to service than the 70's era deluxe reve...
