An LDG yes. Recorded to 1/4" tape. I love the way the steel was captured with the natural tape compression or whatever you wanna call it

looking for wheeled flight case to fit a Sho Bud LDG

Seems to me there is way too much worry about potential issues with vintage buds. Listen to the great records from the 60s, which in my opinion was the best decade for steel guitar. Sho-Bud and Emmons guitars on the majority of those recordings I think it safe to presume. The small amount of issues ...

i think mine may also be a 6140. appears it was factory drilled for 6 pedals.

Can someone(s) tell me the weight of their sho bud 6139? Looking at buying one but needing to know if i can get into a flight case (pelican storm or similar) for under 50 lbs. Thx!

thanks Paddy. I've heard the Pelican cases are a bit sturdier, although they appear a bit heavier too. trying to keep the thing under 50 lbs and 62" combined dimension. i've heard guys putting the pedal bar and legs in their luggage in order to manage the weight. not sure if that's feasible to ...
