SOLD - Rogue Jersey Lightning Lap Steel, White, plus extras

Sold! ========================= Folks, I have a Rogue Jersey Lightning lap steel in white pearloid finish to sell. This is mint--I bought it about 8 months ago, intending to learn how to play, and simply have not had the time to learn it, and have barely touched it. So it's mint condition and even b...

Thanks, Ray. That's great advice I needed to hear as I launch my lap steel education.

What is ethereal about them?

Wouldn't that Em9b6 need a C natural (the b6 in E)? Otherwise, that's a simple (hah!) Em9 tuning.

Looks like the Cmaj7#11 is actually a Cmaj9#11.

What are the virtues you see in these tunings?

What's "Peterson System" for steel guitar? Is it r

I've read about a "Peterson system" for learning and playing lap steel. What is it? I have yet to find an explanation of it online; just a vendor selling e-books purporting to teach how to play lap steel using the "Peterson system."s Is it an effective way to learn? Is it antiqua...

Is a bridge/nut that can move this much normal?

I got the Rogue Jersey Lightning lap steel. Yes, cheapish at $150. I noticed right away that tuning it was a bit challenging because, if I retuned any string significantly, that pulled all the others out of tune. So I start tuning the high string, and by the time I get to the low string, all the res...

Here's a red one

I got the red one. Detailed information about it, not noted in MF's description: The box it comes in has "E/G" printed on one end. Presumably that means that the guitar is strung for E and G tuning. (The MF customer service people had no idea what the strings are or for what tuning.) The s...
