It's been a while since I heard Smiley play and last night he played both Opry sessions w/ Jett Williams, and sounded great. Of course I hear some Don Helms licks . Very Happy

On the Midnite Jamboree Charlie Mccoy joined in and it sounded like the Smile man was having fun. He certainly was on last night,sounded great. Smile

Hey Joe, I can't believe I missed it. I thought about it yesterday, but unless I'm workin' I usually doze off about 11:00. I guess I should have set the alarm. I'm looking forward to seeing Smiley at the Atlanta show in Feb, you ought to come and join us.

Dang..Begoragh...the heck with it Joe!!!!...we just got email from Marsha to say Smiles was on next Sat with Jet....never mind...wouldnt have caught it anyway.
Just to say that Smiley is so proud to be a drifting cowboy.....and who wouldnt ',to take the place of Don Helms !!!!!
