how long did it take you to get Jimmy Days intro to " farewell party " right ? its giving me fits
i welcome any advise and or help

that was Lloyd Green who played the intro, fills, and ride in the middle. As for how long it took, for me, I'm still trying to get it right. Lloyd had/has a touch all his own which is hard to copy so I just do a "reasonable" facsimile of it........JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

Calvin,I'm working on that,too.I just go slow to get all the parts right.There's no way to get it just like JD does it.I guess that's why each person should have their own style.Dicky Overbey has a great version of this song on his instrumental CD
