Do any of you other steelers have a CNC wood router? I need some wood stuff routed for a steel project. Actually, I need stuff routed for several projects.

Hey check this out I just saw on TV sears craftsman just came out with a wood CNC machine it is call the "compucarve" you can program what you want routed or carved out, and it does very detailed work looking from the commercial, you have your image saved on a memory card (from your computor) then you stick it in the compucarve and it starts cutting. I was very impressed with it all though I have not seen it physically. If you got $1899 laying around, the compucarve is for you! |
