Recording to MP3's

Post by Frank Parish »

I can record to my mini disk and then get it on the computer. How do I convert it to an MP3?

If you have Audacity, you can export the file as an Mp3. With most other audio editing programs you can "save as" mp3. What ever program you are using, click on the file menu and then click "save as" then choose mp3. Good luck.

Frank, the short and simple is that you need another program to do it. MusicMatch or the one listed above are good choices.

I beleive there may be a few free downloads out there that can get it done as well.

Go to www.roemersoftware.com Download the free Hi-Q recorder. This will record whatever your playing on the computer to an MP3 file.

If you have Windows Media Player, this is included as a basic function.
