This show is now at another web-address,
I was the guest on this show two months ago and it was a lot of fun to do. He is a real nut! His personal studio is fantastic and very well out fitted. His capabilities in this facility are limitless.

Thanks Bobbe -

Actually, it was your appearance, prefaced by the announcement on this forum, that started me listening to Thom's program.

Try nashvilleradio.biz

The station is operated by my daughter, Darenda Owens. Their offices and studio are downtown Nashville on 2nd street next to BB King's. Thom's show is still on Saturday and Wednesday at the same time. Everything is the same except for the new web location.

They would likw to have a Steel guitar show similiar to what Thom does for fingerstyle guitar. Anyone with an idea for that should contact Darenda @ nashville radio.biz

Thank you Darrell. I have the new address bookmarked. As far as a potential steel guitar host, I believe I made my feelings clear in my earlier reply to Bobbe.

Actually, I just had dinner with Thom Bresh, I am in discussions with this company now concerning doing a "Steel Heavy" show on this station. Dorinda Owens, daughter of the great Darrell Owens, (steel player extradinair) asked me to do so several months ago, I'm now considering it more and more.
It would be a hour show once a week, I'd have steel players on live, and play steel instrumentals and steel heavy vocals. Interviews with all players, my sarcastic humor will be in full force.
As I say, this is in the planing stages now, all I can say is that Dorinda and Thom are the greatest folks in the world to do business with, as I have learned from past deals.
All this has come about since this thread started, pretty interesting,,,,,,

Bobbe,

You are the "pick" of the pickers to do a show like this. You know the history behind the instrument as well as the players who have made the pedal steel guitar one of the most interesting instruments in the world. I am sure you would have a fine audience among the forum members. Anything I can do to help - just let me know.

I was just trying to find Bresh's show, and now it turns out that we might also get a Seymour show. This thread is just getting better all the time.
