I had the opportunity to do two sessions for this Buffalo Springfield Tribute CD that's coming out soon, one with Last Train Home (Kind Woman) and one with LTH Guitarist singer Bill Williams (Flying on the ground is wrong)

Not lame Records site is streaming the entire CD, and yoou can go to the link below and click on either tune and hear me and my ZB Custom in action

Thanks Jimbeaux et al...
doing Kind Woman so similarly to the original was nervous making... I just tried to do justice to the original paying hommage to Rusty's genius...

Dave I suppose we share the honor of being
fifty something and so also share the musical taste of our generation. You sir have that taste and express it well.
Love the music.

Just to clarify:

I am playing steel on 2 of the cuts on this CD tribute

Kind Woman, performed by Last Train Home

Flying On the Ground is Wrong, performed by LTH Guitarist/Singer Bill Williams

I'm glad the label has made the stream available so you can listen to the contributors' offerings and make your purchasing decisions based on your own tastes.

There is some fine playing by others on this (IMO) as well, but it is not largely a "steel guitar" recording...

thanks for the kind words about my playing though! Image

Wow.
I'd forgotten what a pedal steel paradise this material is.
And listen to those twelve-strings!

Great stuff, DVA.
