Does anyone custom make cases for a B6? Will a gun case work? I've got a super-clean B6 with no case.
Thanks,

hi Brad,
I used a gun case. Found a nice hard plastic case on sale at the local sporting goods place for $45. It had dense foam inserts in both sides, and a lock!
It's a smaller one - intended for a shotgun broken down I think. I cut out the foam so the guitar fit snug. It works great. Just take your steel into the store and check some out. I left the top foam intact and just cut out a place for the guitar in the bottom piece. I cut the piece under the neck about half way thru so it would support the neck and not let the headstock touch the bottom. The guitar body does touch the case - so I put another layer of thin packing foam on the bottom first before putting the big foam piece back in. It's about 1/4" and cushions the guitar well.

These guys made me a beautiful case for my B6.

It was the ambassador style case. The price was more than fair. Top quality.
