Who was the steel player on Tennessee Ernie Ford's radio show? I know Speedy recorded with him.

Also, who's the cool accordion man? Great jazzy stuff.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Al,

Yes, there was a one-octave bar slide in there that sort of gave me an indication that it might have been Speedy.

Billy Libert was fast and tasty on accordion! Those were the days, weren't they, with their more extensive instrumentation than just steel, guitar, bass, and drums!

Cheers,

Chris

Usually TE used Cliffie Stone (Bass) and his musicians incl. Speedy West, Jimmy Bryant, Billy Liebert, Harold Hensley (Fiddle), Eddie Kirk (Rhythm Guitar) and Roy Harte (Drums). What a tight group!

Kind Regards, Walter
