Alesis Micro Limiter & Enhancer units

Post by Lynn Stafford »

These are in perfect condition and have always been mounted in this Alesis rack shelf, designed to hold three Micro series units.

Note: In order to mount the NanoVerb on this rack shelf, the screw hole needs to be elongated slightly.

Alesis product descriptions follow:

Micro Limiter: "A soft knee program dependent compressor/limiter, adds punch to vocals and instruments and smooths out fluctuating dynamics. Attack time and compression ratio adjust automaticlly so you won't waste time searching for the most musically correct setting."

Micro Enhancer: "Can be thought of as an automatic equalizer when you need to add brilliance and clarity to instruments."

NanoVerb: "The NanoVerb™ gives you sixteen of Alesis' best preset effects algorithms in a compact, easy-to-use and incredibly affordable package. You'll enjoy its lush hall, plate and room reverbs, rich true stereo chorus, flange, delay, rotary speaker emulation and useful multieffects. Plus, NanoVerb's 18 bit digital converters ensure the sonic quality that allows you to use it for any effects application from guitar rigs to studio recording. The front panel adjust knob allows you to tweak NanoVerb's great-sounding programs until they're just right for your music, while the Input/Output levels and Mix controls ensure proper effect levels for a wide variety of applications."

The NanoVerb is still in production in the Alesis line.

These are great sounding rack components. If I recall, Ron Elliot used Alesis in his rack a few years ago.

Thanks, Dennis. You're right about alesis products, too! Perhaps I should also sell my Alesis MicroverbII and sell the whole thing for $125.00 as a trio.

Any takers?

Price reduced to $65.00 for the Micro series units and rack shelf. I discovered I no longer own a MicroVerbII. I guess I must have replaced it with the NanoVerb and lost track. Sorry for any confusion. Just wanted to clarify things.
