The Jerry Byrd Fan Club (unofficial site) is a great site thanks to Ray Montee. How about getting an official site up and running complete with numbered membership cards that will sure to be collectable and treasured by those that become members. Perhaps with the interest shown here on the forum there would be enough persons requesting it to justify getting one started again. RAY, I'm here in Portland and would be willing to help you with the paperwork hassle and mailings.

Steven I'd welcome hearing from you. I truly had thought of that before the web site was finalized however, I work for a living and when the day is done, I have little energy left to undertake all the many kinds of projects that I worked for during my younger years. The web site seemed to offer the opportunity for me to the most possible with minimal expense and time involved. Even this was a misjudgement on my part.
I want the world to discover JERRY BYRD and his wonderful playing and many just don't have the ability to truly appreciate/recognize all he has done. So, I'm working on that at this time. I'm in the book, give me a call, okay?
