Here's a bump for a really great amp. They do take a little working with to find "your" tone, but I think WELL worth that. I didn't find a "stock" preset that worked for me, but have had some help from other guys that put "their" presets in it, and I made some minor adjustments to those and they are very good. I use the remote that clips onto the leg of my steel, and also the tuner that is built into the amp, and it works great too. Now, when I go to a gig, I don't have all that 'extra' stuff to plug in. I just plug into my amp, and the remote, and of course my volume pedal and I'm set. I love it. This amp is not heavy either. I was at steel show this past weekend and compared the weight of this amp with one of the new Peavey 112's, and they are VERY close in weight. Mine is just a little bit heavier, but not more than a few pounds difference. To me, with the preamp and tuner built in, and the relatively light weight, this is the way to go. I highly recommend this amp, and for this price I just don't think you can beat it. I'm really tempted to buy it, just to have a spare, but I'm actually in the selling market currently, not the buying market. As an added note, I also have a Webb 614 E, which I also love, but the Session 2000 is the one I use at home, and on the job.
My best,

I agree with Bobby. If I wasn't overloaded with amps already and tax time here I would buy this in a second! These are great amps. Like having a Transtube fex, 300 watt power amp, and cabinet with a Black Widow 1501-4 speaker all in a 54 pound package. Like all effects processors, a little bit of time tweaking the settings is all that is needed to get outstanding sounds. There are 128 presets and 128 user settings and the Newman settings can be loaded into the amp just like on a profex. Just a really great amp!

Glad to hear it. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I played a set at the Iowa Steel show in Davenport today with mine, and it sounded awesome. (The amp, not my playing)
Made me think that much harder that I should just go ahead and buy it for a back-up.
Shoulda, coulda, woulda.
Glad it worked out for you, and whoever the buyer is.
Maybe now I can get some sleep.
