Don't all new guitars need a "Hot Babe" endorsment ... here's Emmie Jo

Here's what it sounds like when you Ping it with a rubber mallet.

A spectral analysis shows peaks at ...

-41 db @ 360 Hx (F#)
-16 db @ 884 Hz (A)
-27 db @ 1,461 Hz (F#)
-30 db @ 2,147 Hz (C#)

I'm pretty amazed ... I've been tappin' all my other steels ... nothing close to this ...

Back to work ...

Ahh, man, too cute!

I'm licking my chops over the sound of that. I'll bet it has alot of upper midrange bite, less of a scooped sound. I had a Les Paul once that was heavy as all hell, very dense mahogany, and it had alot of bite in the upper mids.

Allright Rick,
Enough is almost enough.
The wife had to pull out the industrial size drool bucket for me.......
This is bordering on sadism....
What a tease!

cool sound clip....are you planning on making bells also?

Where is the 'official' sign up sheet for one of these things?

Drowning in my drool in Ca.

Hmmmmmmm.......... Would I be thinking right to assume that playing your instument in the key of A and/or F#m would cause it to resonate like crazy?

Okay RICK..........can't help but notice the flat headed, octagon shaped volume knob on that nice little geetar.

Where'd you get it?

Are you planning on manufacturing more of them?

How much are they going to cost?

I spent $70.00 on eBay several months ago for a whole bag full of knobs just to acquire a couple Bakelite replacements for my collection. I sure need a couple of those flat ones........and don't dare to mention to the wife that it could cost me $350 worth of guitar just in order to get that one little knob.

Share your position with all the rest of your fellow Rick owners/collectors.

A "Hole-ey" day ...

Man, for those little Grover "Mini" Rotomatics ... they sure required a whopper of a hole.

No wonder folks don't want to update their B6s with these

Terry, I was thinking the same thing ... if the steel doesn't work out ... it'll make a heck of a "wind chime"

Ray, I made molds of both the "Octagonals" and "Flying Saucers" several months ago.

I've casted a bunch for folks ... white, brown, black and chocolate swirl ...

I'm gonna cast a couple in plaster ... then use 'em the next time I sand cast aluminum ... to go on the "Dustpan" and future casts steels I make for folks.

If any body needs some ... give me a holler ...

I'd rather just make a set or two for my
buddies than "put them up for sale" ...

They ain't that easy to do (hard to get centered) ... and the cost would be too much for little knobs ...

So I'd rather give em away ... to folks who really need 'em.

Oakley, she sweeter than "Cotton Candy" and has the strike capability exceeding that of a "King Cobra's" ...

No doubt ... Emmie Jo ... is The Boss of this family. And she's not even two

Ray, I'll do up a bunch this weekend ... along with a cast aluminum octagonal for my "Dustpan".

Sorry Jay ... gonna have to post more pictures later today ... of the neodymium horseshoe magnets I made for this rascal ...

I came up with a very cool design improvement

I can't even imagine thinking the word "no" in her presence. She looks like she knows that her wish is your command.

Please ask her if we can see some more pictures of the dustbuster.
