Well since winning the ebay auction of the beautiful Georgeboard mahogany eight string lap steel I've been playing it and wanted to post a few comments on the non peddlars forum. Not only is George's creation very pleasing to the eye it's form and function are just right . I'm learning harmonics and find they really pop out on this guitar. The tone and volume controls are located right in the sweet spot for your right hand. They also seem to have a different sweep than the pots on my other guitars so George must have something a little different here.If you get one of his instruments you'll really enjoy playing it. I just have to find a gig bag or gun case to store it in . Thanks again to Denny Turner for posting the link about it so I was aware of it.
