I'd like to wish a wonderful holiday season to all my buds on the Forum and to b0b for making it all possible.

For those who don't frequent STEEL ON THE WEB, I have a musical version of these greetings.

Larry, I think this is my first time to hear you and it's really very nice. The tunes and the playing! I'd say you and your steel are certainly ready for Christmas in Florida. I just got "home for the holidays" after visiting Tampa, Lakeland & Port Orange with my daughter & her husband! Fine stuff on that S12, Larry!
3 fingerpicks?? Doesn't sound quite like it??

No, Uncle Doug, TWO fingerpicks.
(maybe one of these days)
Hope you enjoyed your stay in Florida. (I'm sure you did) My neighbors just took off for family holidays in upstate New York. I told 'em they really have their sense of direction screwed up.

Merry Christmas Eve to all.

Yes, I had a great time. It's got me thinking about heading south someday. Daughter in PA near Wellsboro (north central), daughter near Charlotte NC & my son in Lakeland......maybe NC would put me somewhere near the middle. Rich is still working on his doctorate in LA, so he hasn't decided where to roost yet? Now that you're retired and time to pick, do like Reese suggests & just stick another pick on someday and see what happens, you might like it! I really like this year's tune ..... "Christmas Time Is Here" I wanted to put it in my BIAB 'cause it's such a great tune, but when I looked it was already there! Don't recall when I did that, but sure glad I did!
Happy New Year, Larry and all the rest of you steelers!

Larry- Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and many more to come. You ever coming up this way again? Would like to meet you again and talk Music....

Doug-same to you , old Buddy.
Reece had me put on that other pick in Dallas in 1968. It works good, but I still go back and forth between 3 and 4 picks. My 4th finger had trigger finger and that note is weaker than if I use 3 picks. It doesn't matter to me. I dont play any better with 4 than with 3. LOL...al

It is like a night in the Desert tonight here, like good old Arizona. The Moon and Stars are out and the sun shone all day about 50 degress tonight(balmy for Mich).....

Hi Larry. Great stuff there; fantastic chord progressions and voicing -- just as I should have expected. We will be back in Florida permanently by the last half of March, so I hope I have the honor of jamming with you again.

Wow -- 'Uncle Doug', Al Marcus, and Roy Ayers -- three of my favorite veterans. Thank you for all I've learned from you and for your replies and kind words.

And a wonderful and prosperous New Year to all Forum buddies.
