My wife gave me the DVD series of Country Reunion that is seen on TV. I spent all day watching it and I still have several boxes to open. Mike Johnson, Jimmy Capps and Glenn Duncan make up the band. If you haven't gotten these DVD's, get them. It is real country music with Johnny Russel, Johnny Paycheck, Grandpa Jones, Jeannie Sealy, Skeeter Davis, Billy Walker, Boxcare and lots more. The best present I rec'd since my 3 days with Jeff Newman.

I Got Rolling Stone Magazines' THE 500 GREATEST ALBUMS OF ALL TIME book. Great present and I love the book, but I can't figure out why a lot of my favorites didn't make the list. They had one listed called The White Album, I liked The Black Album.
It's amazing to page through the book and recall all of the time I spent listening to some fantastic records. Even better is being reminded of the ones I always wanted to get and never did. Like #105 Modern Sounds In Country & Western Music by Ray Charles or #12 Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis.
