Them Days

This is it, we can talk about our days of Country Rock and good and bad along with the fun times of that time in a steel players life. I'll let someone else start first as some of my stories may get lenghty. The only thing I will start with is I was a rock'n'roll lead guitarist and I found a RIC lap steel in a pawn shop in Grapevine, Texas and it all went downhill from there. Tell us some of your stories. Edited to say this all started in 1976.
