My hand has to go up here. I have to be careful not to dazzle those people sitting in the front front row with the reflections from the stage lights. I also have to make it clear to the audience that I'm not wearing a crash helmet!!

What T.C. said....

I always have to wear a hat, so as not to blind anyone from the glare....

Bald happens. The massive amount of brains working inside your skull forces the hair out. I'm too busy looking at my fretboard to look in the mirror at this stage in life. Haircuts are quicker and less combing to do. A great excuse to wear many styles of hats too.

You bald headed steel pickers are simply working at playing that guitar.....to HARD! The additional heat required to fire off your brain-thingies (like the Pentium in your super big computer), are burning off the roots of your hair folicles. Tragic as though it might seem, that's a fact. A bassman told me that.

Those of us who play and enjoy usually have far more hair, wavey at that, the kind girls like to run their long slender fingers through....... We might not be able to play as fast or loud or as well as you other guys, our fringies aren't all that bad.

Don't fret....... Hair today, gone tomorrow!

We all endure strange questions....A lady at one of our shows asked me "Do you wear a Wig?" I said "Honey, if was going to wear a wig, I'd buy one with some hair in it!" You never know what people will do with that information. Ask Alan Jackson. Thanks, Ron
[This message was edited by Ron Elliott on 24 November 2006 at 11:49 AM.]

Gary Lynch,

"The massive amount of brains working inside your skull forces the hair out."

You know Gary, I told that to my old Daddy and his response was, "Don't BS me boy, you cant grow hair on concrete" Image Image

We never discussed it again even to his passing, RIP. Image Image

Greely-I wore a Tayler Topper when I played in California and in Arizona. I was around 50 years of age and all the guys I played with were 18 to 25. They never caught on. If they knew that I was over 30 they would have thrown me out of the bands in those days.
That wig paid it's way many times over.LOL......al Image Image
