You have to join the site (just email & password) but it's well worth it. Tons of
old concerts on there. It's pretty much rock
stuff though.

Jay, Thanks for the heads up. I bought Dickey Betts Highway Call record when it came out because it had John Hughey on it. Man, I listened to the In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed concert version. Wow! Mr. John Hughey really stretches out and just jams and gets good and outside. As you say it's well worth the time to check it out.

Jay, Thanks for the link. I too, still have the LP. I bought it for the Dickie Betts thing but also because of the great Vassar Clements. NOne better on the fiddle than Vassar. I also discovered John Hughey. That got me to thinkin about the steel guitar. It was all down hill from there. Mark
