oregon steel guitar association?

Can anyone help me find the Oregon Steel guitar Association? I hope they have one. Are perhaps the northwest steel guitar Association. I'm looking forward to meeting a few of you forum members at the Texas Jamboree in March. Who know you might even like me .

In the Portland metro area there are several fellow-players, that have been extremely active in such a group but not certain if it is an OFFICIAL TITLE or merely a social group.
You might seek out Larry Behm, (possibly living in the Milwaukie/Oregon City area); Pete Burak, (Southwest Portland area); and/or Doug Jones, (possibly the Oregon City/Canby area). Great people to get to know and they actively play throughout the area.
The Northwest Steel Guitar Ass. has its home in Spokane, Washington.
