The date was 1940, the song is Jelly Jelly. I just heard this on the radio, and there was definitely a steel player in the mix. Anybody know who it was? THere was a *killer* clarinet solo, by the way.

Hurley Ramey was the only guitarist on that session, so it had to be him.

Scoops Carey was the clarinet player and yeah, he blows a wild one.
