B@njo Player! I couldn't even bring myself to actually spell out the name of that dreaded instrument! I was invited to a steel jam in North Carolina by Kenny Dail yesterday and was looking forward to it. The thing kicked off with a very good bluegrass band and to my surprise, there was Clyde on 5 string b@njo! I hadn't expected that but he played the dreaded instrument very well. What was cool was the fact that they did some ballad tunes also and clyde did a few steel type licks on the b@njo which I enjoyed. The steelers at the jam including myself were: Kenny Dail, Glenn Lanning, and Clyde (the afore mentioned B@njo player). If anyone doubts this, I have photo evidence of Clyde playing that "thing". I couldn't bring myself to say it again!......JH in Va.
