I've been listening to Bobby Flores , Randy Rhinehardt , Darrell McCall, and a bunch of great country musicians on the XM radio station at work. Can't remember all the artists that i've heard from around the San Antone area , but I bet Bobby Flores could give you a lineup by way of email. I just mentioned on the Forum that my wife and i were planning on a vacation out there and he emailed me a list of dates, places , and such. Good folks out there in Texas.

| If you can't find steel in San Antonio on a week end, I don't know what to tell you. There is probably a dozen or so rather good steel players in and around here and a bunch more I don't even know. What makes it tricky to follow is it is nearly all one nighters. Sit down jobs here are rare. Lots of good singers and fiddle players too. Roger |
