i was buzzing around on you tube in the "steel guiar" section and found this band "high country band" on milwaukee daytime t.v . the player is playing a blue kline p.s.g .anybody know if this player or the band ???

It's me! I was a fortunate member of a popular bar band you saw in the video. The last two years we did a reunion gig in Door county. I think this year we have somthing lined up for "Summerfest".

That Kline is still my main guitar.

Thanks for the kind words Paul, there are about six clips on YouTube posted from that year, 1984. Great memories for me. Check out forum member Jim Lombard. He is is Milwaukee; A great steeler and a nice guy. He lends me his amp when I travel there.

just watch some more clips. great stuff man. was that filmed at the brat stop by chance?. did you know a steeler my the name of don kates
played with johnny elders and the midnite cowboys in the 80"S he taught me p.s.g

No they were taped at Nick's Nickabob (sp). I have not had the pleasure of meeting Don Kates. I left Wisconsin a few months after this, and we did not cross paths.
