Does anyone have a "collectors" edition of the YORK BROTHERS on KING LABEL?
I'm hoping to find someone out there that can tell me WHO.....is playing on their record of "RIVER of TEARS".........
It's a great tune and the steel guitarist is awsom as far as TONE is concerned...
Local experts are having a conflict of just which steel guitar artist it might be.
Can anyone help me out on this question?

Sorry Ray, I got nothing to help, just thought I'd reply to let you know I've had a think and a look, but no luck.

Hi Ray, I don't have the track to listen to, maybe someone could post me the mp3 of it, BUT, at a guess I would say it's quite likely that it could be Eddie Martin. He recorded many sessions for King both with his own group and backing others. His stye was somewhat chordal and his roots were in Hawaiian playing.
