Russ Hicks -- who I consider one of the worlds greatest steel players (guitar/bass/trumpet too)-- is launching several super teaching items such as his "SIX HICKS LICKS" CD teaching series (this will be an on-going steel guitar teaching series)...PLUS he is ready to begin one-to-one personal steel lessons called the "MASTER SESSIONS" with Russ Hicks.

So many players have been asking how can they learn his unique style so Russ has agreed to give steel lesson on his exciting approach to the steel. I told Russ I want him to teach me that incredible 'chicken speed picking'stuff(for me, it's called 'turtle slow picking').

If you would like more information or to schedule a time for a personal lesson, email Russ at hrusse@bellsouth.net.

The Hix gave me a great word of advice last winter, problem was it was advice given to him from the Rugger. Either way the advice was so valuable and I appreciate him taking the time for that.
By the way, Laney gave Russ some advice also, and he listened like a good husband, what a guy.
