Please feel free to listen to the new Clip of the Week at www.austriansteelguitar.at.tf (go to the "Sounds" page, then scroll down). I freely admit that I have never heard of the singer before, but this is great stuff! Thanks to my friend Lars-Eric Danfors from Denmark who sent me the album. Thanks, Daris!

Enjoy the music!

Kind Regards, Walter

Maybe I'm wrong, Walter. Think the singer is BL on United Artists, recorded in 1966.

Yeah, I thought of Bobby Lewis, but that's probably a wrong idea.

OK guys, here's the answer:

The singer is a guy by the name of Pat Patterson, on steel of course the great Lloyd Green! One of these "no-name" albums (not meant in a derogatory way!) - I wonder how many other albums like this one were recorded and never heard by the majority of listeners. Pay attention to www.lloydgreentribute.com, the next update (middle of July) will feature more Pat Patterson!

Kind Regards, Walter

Ooowee, there are so many things to learn about, yet. Thanks for that, Walter.

Is this the same Pat Patterson that had a band in Germany during the 70's?
If so I did a tour with Dave Dudley and Pats band was on the show.
