if you're talking about the Bruce Springstein "Seeger sessions" album, there isn't any steel on the record. He must have added that for the live gig.
P.S. the dvd included with the disk is really interesting and worth the cost of the disk.

I only caught a minute of it tonight, but Marty's Emmons sure was sounding good. And his dobro playing was pretty good too.
