Dan has been doing a fine job playing bass with us, but tonight was his last gig with us. He's been transferred to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He has a beautiful Marrs D-10, and his greatest love is the steel. He has been a steeler for some time, and now has made arrangements to study with Russ Wever, so the next time we see him he'll be a real monster picker. He's been a real pleasure to work with and every one around here is sorry to see him go. He is a forum member, so I just wanted to wish him well from the band and every one at Fort Polk. I hope all you players in that area will make him welcome, our loss is your gain.
